Mountain Opens Up

This weekend saw much of Thredbo's snow fields open up for skiing and boarding.

All lifts were running apart from Sponars and Ramshead. Some more advanced areas are still closed due to lack of packed snow base but generally all systems are 'go'.

We were able to move more easily about the resort with access to both sides of the resort possible by snow and a little pushing. The great weather conditions were a bonus.

More snow due by the end of the week. Some snow making is helping out but still the lower areas could do with a good dumping.
