When Rosco Came To Town - Part II
Following on from my previous report, Rosco has sent me some more of his stunning photos that he snapped during his ANZAC long weekend.
Starting with his early morning stroll on Sunday over the heavy frosted slopes
'Needle Ice' as Rosco informs me, that he found in The Basin
Textures and colours also found in The Basin
Rosco's perspectives on the old Ramshead top station
as he says 'it won't be there forever'
Leaks from the Talbingo floodgates at sunset
Like a scene from the Great War
Rosco observed the ANZAC Day sunrise over the Hume Weir
Stunning colours and shapes of a bygone time
Lest We Forget
They really are moving photos aren't they?
Meanwhile life continues:-
The Thredbo Jazz Festival begins on Friday (dress for cool and wet weather). It is also the last weekend of the mountain bike season and the Kosciuszko Express closes on Sunday afternoon for maintenance. Slowbums chair should be operating on Monday for the next 4 weeks.
