Somewhere Other Than Thredbo

Rosco continues to send me wonderful photos from Japan and horror stories of crowds, whilst I have arrived in another country to true 2010 Winter Olympic conditions.

First some snaps from Rosco and then a few from moi. Please bear with me as I am using a borrowed laptop which is more difficult to use than Yasuo’s computer in Niseko.

If it doesn’t snow tonight on the lower slopes and the groomers try to groom them, then there will be next to nothing to ski on, save for rocks, stumps and grass.

I'm starting to wonder why I got my skis tuned before leaving OZ. On the good side, I'm getting a lot of exercise and the Chilean red wine is cheap and drinkable.
