Springing Back
Another landmark has been passed and another major task completed. I've still more challenges ahead but for the immediate future I'm back in Thredbo, where it has been much, much cooler than what I had been experiencing in Sydney.
Kosi chair is open after its spring maintenance period and mountain bikes are everywhere. Unfortunately KT is behind with their maintenance on the Eagles Nest complex so there's none of those vital things required before and after a stroll on top of Australia - no coffee, no beer, no food. The toilets are open.
I went for a short walk today under a warming sun and in a crisp, stiff breeze. Certainly not T-shirt weather up top. There are a few small patches of snow to be seen and some small patches of wild flowers, otherwise it's all very green. In fact, the entire Monaro is extraordinarily green.
One small drift of snow remains on the Bluff (top left)
There's not much more upon Central Spur
Meadows snow depth indicator ;-)
No, they're flowers on the left

If you get fed up with the Sydney weather, Thredbo is the place to be, just not Squatters Run until after all the disruptions have finished.
For those of you who have been hanging out to read my next grump about what's been recently going on in Squatters Run, let me say that things aren't good and that I intend to disclose all, in the future.
