48 Hours

As predicted, Kosi chair did not reopen this weekend so it meant another climb up from Snowgums to get in a few turns. Despite a good frost this morning, the change in the 48 hours since my last ski on Friday was pretty amazing. Most of Thursday's freshies had disappeared but the skiing was still great fun. The snow was wet but neither slow nor sticky - good spring touring snow.

It was perfect weather for touring - a light cool breeze - meaning I wore a shell up and down the chair but just a long sleeved cotton top for the rest - to stop sun burn.

It was disappointing to be forced off the hill after 3 hours out there due to equipment failure - snapped the earphone cable from podsie :-(

Mind you I had put in more than 3000 steps on the zipper line before this, but whose counting? I didn't need to today because I know how many each line required from Friday's effort.
