Waaah!
Yesterday I left for Jindy at 12:30 in a light drizzle. On my return 3 hours later the village was white and a few centimetres of fresh snow had already settled on the unploughed roads. Was this to be the BIG ONE - the big dump we had waited for all season?
This morning I was awoken by a constant stream of snowploughs. There was snow everywhere and with little to no wind, it had piled high.
The village is virtually closed with many staff unable to reach it this morning.
Below are a few snaps of conditions here in Thredbo.

Monday evening over Golf Course

Tuesday afternoon - returning from Jindabyne

Crackenback - Tuesday afternoon

Sundance and High Noon

The foot bridge this morning

27cms on the Bakery table

Deep snow throughout the village

Trees bending under the weight

Not a day for a picnic by the river or a leisurely drive

A surprise for everyone
Theres more snow forecast!
Wouldn't it be nice if the slopes were open?
PS: It's snowing again.
