Waiting For The Next Dump

Reports from Hokkaido are that a warm front has been moving through. TraKtorman reports snow falling on Honshu.

So, what do you do when even the groomers are rated poorly? Wander around aimlessly taking photos or back country on breakable crust and goop.

Here are some photos (courtesy of Rosco) of both ;-

All this may sound depressing but consider yourselves lucky not to be in OZ - the land of the eternal/infernal heater. North West Sydney has been getting temps way-way beyond the "Dave Syndrome" temp of 88F (refer to Black Books Season 2 Episode 2 - Fever). In fact, with temps already 40C and 42C forecast for Richmond on next Friday (i.e. Black Friday 13th of January) I feel that 88F (or 31.11C) is hardly a notable point where you take off all your clothes and behave like Dave ;-)
