It's Not All Sun and Crackers

This report comprises a couple of sets of photos from Peter in Rusutsu, taken over a few days. First there was warmth and sun, then fog and gradually the temperature dropped, freezing moisture on trees and then snowing again.

Warming temps and sun led to the inevitable ...

As I write this I suspect Rosco has settled down on his bus heading towards Chitose. I'll post his last photos soon.

We've had a good storm in Thredbo this morning - thunder and lightning - very, very ... you know the words. Actually it has dropped the temperature down nicely (I found last night still quite steamy.) but the storms do warrant turning off the computer when the lightning is coming.
