The Fantastic Road Trip

Just before the Thredbo Jazz weekend, both Rosco and Peter sent through some more amazing photos of conditions on Hokkaido following deep snowfalls and the return of the sun.

Today's photos are from Rosco (Peter tomorrow) mostly taken during a road trip he made with Rob, Geoff and Heather. Rosco described it as a Fantastic road trip.

The sun was out, it was colder than -10 and there was what we guess at 50cm of the most beautiful dry, deep powder I have skied...so light and fluffy.

Then on the following day when Rosco visited Moiwa, he reports:
Moiwa was great, as usual, and I was getting face shots consistently, (not the same fluffy powder as yesterday...that will take some beating).

The name of the resort has been withheld but those of you who have been there will probably recognise it.

It's sunny and windy in Thredbo. The bureau says the rains are coming (again), later in the week.
